Vision Board

Can you believe we're entering 2018? Like wow, time is really flying. Every year around this time, everyone is usually talking about the previous year, everything they learned, the bs they're not taking next year and all the people they're leaving behind. Yeah, I know because I do it too. All the previous years, it was just words and thoughts, but this year for 2018 I'm actually writing them down and here's why. In 2017 I did exactly what everyone else does, I said who I was cutting off, what I planned to do and how I planned to do it. Throughout the year, looking back, I saw a lot of those things come and go. Thinking about something stays a thought, but words AND actions gives results. Which is why in 2018 I plan to write all of my goals and resolutions down on paper so I can reference it and actually think up a game plan to make everything come true. 

Since all I ever say is that we live in a technology based world, I decided to do something new school, yet traditional at the same time. I found an app that allows you to create your own virtual vision board. If you search "vision board" into your app store search engine a number of them will pop up. Find one that suits you. The one I used allows me to post a picture of me in the center and the pictures surrounding it includes love, marriage, family, children, your career, traveling, finances and any other goals you may have. In the end you can save it and set it as your screensaver to keep as a reminder of all of your goals. Quick and convenient right?

Aside from writing them down, you have to have a plan as well. I wrote down each section of my life that I plan to work on and the things I personally need to work on in order to achieve them. "Your thoughts become your words and your words become your actions". Remember this the next time you say you "can't". May 2018 grant all of your wishes!
